At Cooper Farms, we are committed to producing only the highest quality products. This means that food safety is a top priority in every step of the process. Our quality teams at our Processing and Cooked Meats Plants perform regular testing to ensure the highest food safety. We work closely with USDA personnel who are present at each plant. Several of our team members have gone through a variety of training sessions in order to be equipped with the knowledge they need to review all of our processes.
In addition to on-staff monitoring at all times, Cooper Farms and its customers enlist the help of several third-party auditors to further test and prove that the highest food safety standards are being met. In their most recent audits the St. Henry Processing Plant and Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant received an AA rating, the highest rating available from the British Retail Consortium, a globally recognized standard in quality.
