ST. HENRY, OHIO — Cooper Farms held its 13th annual Turkey Trot 5K run/walk on Saturday, November 2. The event saw over 325 runners and walkers complete the 3.1 mile course.

This year’s event raised $3,000. Cooper Farms once again donated all proceeds to State of the Heart Care, who they have paired with for the event since 2007.

First place for female participants (and first place overall finisher) was 13-year-old Nicki Southerland of Muncie, Indiana with a time of 18:58. Second place female was 14-year-old Natalie Brunswick of Fort Recovery, Ohio with a time of 21:53. Third place female was Jessica Puthoff of St. Henry, Ohio, crossing the finish line in 22:27.

First place for male participants was Eric Butcher of Portland, Indiana with a time of 18:59. Second place male was Brett Helminger with a time of 19:27 and third place male was Doug Jutte of Minster, Ohio clocking in at 19:55.
